Enter Paramount’s ‘Area 51,’ Abducted to VOD Tomorrow!
Paramount Insurge’s long-lost Area 51, directed by Paranormal Activity‘s Oren Peli, is abducting viewers on VOD and all digital platforms tomorrow.
Bloody Disgusting landed the first images from the found-footage Area 51 that will take viewers onto the infamous Nevada base where aliens were allegedly taken following the infamous Roswell UFO crash of 1947.
“Area 51 follows Reid, who has always been obsessed with UFOs. While on a weekend trip to Vegas, he convinces two friends to join him on a mission to break into Area 51, where they find terrifying proof of alien presence.”

I wrote in my review for Bloody Disgusting, “A quaint Irish hotel with a deeply haunted history awaits an American writer in McCarthy’s third outing, continuing his streak for folkloric tales of supernatural karma and spine-tingling terror with a dark sense of humor.”
What’s next from Damian McCarthy? He’s currently writing a haunted house movie, but recent comments suggest he may be moving into other genres beyond that upcoming project.
