Alchemy just announced the home entertainment release of Paul Hyett’s UK werewolf horror, Howl (review #1 | review #2), available on Blu-ray, DVD and Early EST on January 12, 2016.
The “werewolves on a train” horror film that gives nods to An American Werewolf in London stars A Lonely Place to Die‘s Ed Speleers, The Descent‘s Shauna Macdonald and Dog Soldiers‘ Sean Pertwee.
Hyett did the effects work on Neil Marshall’s The Descent, The Woman in Black and Doomsday before making his directorial debut with 2012 revenge horror The Seasoning House.
“On a stormy night, passengers on the last train out of London begin to panic after coming to a sudden halt. They soon realize there’s something dangerous lurking in the forest, and its stalking the besieged train picking them off one-by-one.”
