Alien: Covenant heads home this Fall.
I already can’t wait to own Ridley Scott’s latest prequel to Alien, which I personally found to be the best film in the franchise since Aliens. Just released over the weekend, Alien: Covenant is a pitch perfect blend of heady Prometheus ideas and intense Alien terror, and you better believe I’ll be first in line to grab a copy when it comes out.
We don’t yet have a date, but we have already learned that Alien: Covenant will be getting Blu-ray, DVD and 4K releases this Fall. In addition, a special Steelbook release will hit Best Buy in the US and HMV in the UK. But what about the entire Alien franchise, now that we’ve got a new installment?
Along with the individual release(s) of Alien: Covenant comes the Alien 6 Film Collection, in both a regular Blu-ray version and Steelbook version. The set includes Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien: Resurrection, Prometheus, and Alien: Covenant.
