Arrow Video Releasing Blu-ray Solo Editions of ‘Hellraiser’ and ‘Hellraiser II’ in the United States!

Arrow Video released “The Scarlet Box” back in 2016, a limited edition set that included Blu-rays of Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, each film receiving a brand new 2K restoration for the release. That set is long out of print at this point, but Arrow has announced today that solo Blu-rays for the first two films are now on the way!

To be clear, these are the very same editions that were included in “The Scarlet Box.” Hellraiser will be a US and Canada release, while Hellraiser II is a US, UK and Canada release.

Both solo Blu-rays will be released on September 24th here in the States, and you can pre-order them and browse full release information over on DiabolikDVD.com.

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
