‘IT: Chapter Two’ Heads to 4K and Blu-ray in December with Andy Muschietti Commentary and More

We’ve learned tonight that Andy Muschietti‘s IT: Chapter Two will bring Pennywise back to Digital on November 19th and to 4K Ultra HD, DVD and Blu-ray on December 10th.

4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray special features include:

  • Pennywise Lives Again!
  • This Meeting of the Losers Club Has Officially Begun
  • Finding the Deadlights
  • The Summers of IT: Chapter One, You’ll Float Too
  • The Summers of IT: Chapter Two, IT Ends
  • Commentary with Director Andy Muschietti

The DVD will only include:

  • Pennywise Lives Again!
  • This Meeting of the Losers Club Has Officially Begun
  • Finding the Deadlights
  • The Summers of IT: Chapter One, You’ll Float Too
  • The Summers of IT: Chapter Two, IT Ends

Unfortunately, no deleted scenes will be packaged with this release, suggesting to us that Warner Bros. may be holding out for that potential “supercut” of both films. We know that both IT and IT: Chapter Two include various deleted scenes that we’ve yet to see, but it looks like we’ll just have to continue waiting for all of that extended material. Sigh.

Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, IT: Chapter Two brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.

Oscar nominee Jessica Chastain (Mama) stars as Beverly Marsh, James McAvoy (Glass) as Bill Denbrough, Bill Hader (HBO’s “Barry,”) as Richie Tozier, Isaiah Mustafa (“Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments”) as Mike Hanlon, Jay Ryan (“Mary Kills People”) as Ben Hanscom, James Ransone (“The Wire”) as Eddie Kaspbrak, and Andy Bean (“Swamp Thing”) as Stanley Uris.

Reprising their roles as the original members of the Losers Club are Jaeden Martell as Bill, Wyatt Oleff as Stanley, Jack Dylan Grazer as Eddie, Finn Wolfhard as Richie, Sophia Lillis as Beverly, Chosen Jacobs as Mike, and Jeremy Ray Taylor as Ben.

The SCREAMBOX Original documentary Hollywood Dreams & Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story is now streaming on SCREAMBOX, and it’s next coming to VHS!

A limited edition of only 50 copies worldwide, the VHS copies of the Englund documentary will go up for grabs on Saturday, April 27 at 12pm EST on Lunchmeat’s official website.

Josh Schafer of Lunchmeat explains, “With so many of Englund’s works being seen and familiarized on videotape, it only felt right to offer fans and collectors the opportunity to experience this fantastic doc on VHS. We all know the Freddy movies just feel different on videocassette, and we wanted to bring that feel to this film for those who want it.”
