BBC’s “Dracula” Sinks Teeth into UK Blu-ray Release With Over 20 Minutes of Bonus Content

The brand new three-episode “Dracula” series starring Claes Bang as the blood-sucking title character is now streaming in the UK through BBC and the US through Netflix, and we’ve learned this week that it’s headed to DVD and Blu-ray over in the UK on February 3rd, 2020.

The 2-disc set will feature over 20 minutes of bonus content, including:

  • “Who is Dracula?”
  • “Styling Dracula”
  • “The Score”
  • “Building Castle Dracula”
  • “The Beast Within”
  • “Arwel’s Set Tour”
  • Audio Commentary (Episode 3) with Mark Gatiss, Steven Moffat, Sue Vertue and Arwel Wyn Jones

Based on the novel by Bram Stoker, the series was co-created and written by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat. The cast also includes Dolly Wells, John Heffernan and Morfydd Clark.

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences.
