Horror Movies You’ll Find on HBO Max Include ‘Elm Street’ and ‘Jaws’ Franchises, ‘Godzilla’ Films and More

Yet another new streaming service is added to the mix next week with the launch of WarnerMedia’s HBO Max, which will be loaded up with all kinds of film and television content from HBO and beyond. It’s expected that there will be 10,000 hours of content available at launch, and that includes thousands of library films from WB, New Line, Criterion and more.

HBO Max will also be home to original content, of course, but what we’re here to talk about today are those library titles that you’ll be able to stream through the brand new service.

ComicBook.com just shared the full list of over 600 movies that are coming to HBO Max, and it’s loaded with big time horror titles that come from various different studios.

HBO Max’s library horror titles include:

Gateway Horror Classic ‘The Gate’ Returns to Life With Blu-ray SteelBook in May

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
