‘American Psycho’: Streaming 4K UHD Release of Mary Harron’s Classic On Sale for $4.99

I’m walking on sunshine…

If you don’t already own the physical release, Lionsgate has made the 4K UHD release of Mary Harron‘s hilarious psychological horror American Psycho available on streaming platforms for only $4.99 this weekend!

American Psycho introduced us to wealthy New York City investment banking executive psychopath Patrick Bateman, played effortlessly by the great Christian Bale, “who hides his alternate psychopathic ego from his co-workers and friends as he delves deeper into his violent, hedonistic fantasies.”

American Psycho was the prelude to Bale being cast as Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy and it’s an absolute must-see for any horror fan that has missed out.

Speaking of 4K UHD releases, I hope you listened to me and were able to check out James Wan’s criminally underrated gothic horror Dead Silence before it was pulled from streaming services. It’s now only available in HD.

As for other weekend sales, especially on VUDU, the following are also available to own for only $4.99: James Gunn’s horror-comedy SLiTHER, the creeptacular modern classic It Follows, the Let the Right One In remake Let Me In, and the 1987 classic The Believers starring Martin Sheen.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.

If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
