Shortly after being released in theaters, the horror-comedy Studio 666 made its way onto Premium VOD, and now we’ve learned it’s headed to Digital and Blu-ray/DVD this month.
Studio 666 comes to Digital on May 10, followed by DVD/Blu-ray on May 24.
Special features for the physical release include a gag reel.
“In Studio 666, the legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.”
The film was written by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes, based on a story by Grohl.
The full cast includes Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, Leslie Grossman, and Jeff Garlin.
Meagan wrote in her review, “While Studio 666 doesn’t finish nearly as strong as it starts, it still makes for an entertaining jam session full of gore, laughs, and endearing moments.”
