I Know What You Did Last Summer 2 movie

It doesn’t seem like that long ago that we were upgrading all of our DVDs to Blu-rays, and now it’s time to upgrade those Blu-rays to 4K Ultra HD discs. Horror classics from the past are making the transition to 4K Ultra HD at a steady clip, and a listing over on Amazon this week lets us know that 90s slasher I Know What You Did Last Summer is coming to 4K soon.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar star with Freddie Prinze, Jr., Ryan Phillippe and Johnny Galecki in this terrifying tale of a body that just won’t stay dead.

In I Know What You Did Last Summer, “After an accident on a winding road, four teens make the fatal mistake of dumping their victim’s body into the sea. But exactly one year later, the dead man returns from his watery grave, and he’s looking for more than an apology.”

Directed by Jim Gillespie and written by Kevin Williamson (Scream), 1997’s I Know What You Did Last Summer was based on a very different Lois Duncan novel from the 1970s.

The film ended up spawning two sequels – I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer, as well as an Amazon series that got one season.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
