Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, The Nun II) directs from a script by Ian Goldberg & Richard Naing (The Autopsy of Jane Doe, The Nun II) and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It).

Mia Tomlinson, Ben Hardy, Tony Spera, Steve Coulter, Rebecca Calder, Elliot Cowan, Beau Gadsdon, Kíla Lord Cassidy, John Brotherton, and Shannon Kook round out the cast.

Meagan Navarro wrote in her review, “Last Rites is suitably nightmarish where it counts, bringing memorable chills that linger and spilling more blood than usual in a Conjuring film. But it’s more affecting for the way it wears its heart on its sleeves, with Wilson and Farmiga giving their final bow as Ed and Lorraine Warren their all.

New Line is reportedly developing a Conjuring prequel with Rodrigue Huart in talks to direct.
