While we wait to learn more about the Sorority Row sequel recently teased by screenwriter Josh Stolberg, the 2009 slasher remake has been set to make its 4K debut.

Who’s killing the sisters of Theta Pi?
Rosman University’s Theta Pi – Cassidy (Briana Evigan), Chugs (Margo Harshman), Jessica (Leah Pipes), Ellie (Rumer Willis), and Claire (Jamie Chung) – are committed to staying mum regarding the prank that ended in tragedy for Megan (Audrina Patridge), one of their own. But when graduation day arrives, so does terror, as a killer hunts Theta Pi’s sisters one by one.
The Stuart Hendler-directed film grossed $27 million worldwide against a $12.5 million budget for Lionsgate. Stolberg co-wrote with Peter Goldfinger.
Matt Donato wrote in his Revenge of the Remakes column, “Sorority Row feels ahead of its decade in how it subverts slasher expectations like women being helpless fawns and men getting away with sleazy behavior as locker room heroes.”
