We now have some gruesome images from the British darkly comic horror K-Shop, in UK cinemas July 22.
“Bloody vengeance comes to the streets of a British seaside town in this darkly comic horror, which sees a young student turn vigilante on the drunken thugs who caused the death of his kebab shop-owner father – a cutting social commentary about the sordid side of British nightlife.”
Dan Pringle directed the film the cast including Ziad Abaza (Spectre, Exodus: Gods & Kings), Darren Morfitt (Dog Soldiers, How I Live Now), Reece Noi (TV’s Game of Thrones, My Kingdom), Lucinda Rhodes (Fall of the Essex Boys, TV’s The Detectorists) and Ewen McIntosh (The Lobster, TV’s The Office).
The pic is said to be following in the bloody footsteps of homegrown horror hits such as Severance and Dog Soldiers, and is distinctly British with a dark sense of humour.
