Koukou Studios is getting ready to kick off a closed beta for the first episode in their upcoming psychological horror game Lethe, with a launch planned later this week (June 28-July 1).
The name might not sound familiar, but we covered the game here a handful of times back in 2014, before it went quiet. Not completely quiet — Koukou has been posting screenshots from it fairly regularly for two years now — but enough to fall off my radar. What’s interesting about Lethe is that it’s a first-person horror game that’s also physics-based, similar to Amnesia: The Dark Descent, if that game had starred a psychokinetically gifted protagonist.
Lethe: Episode 1 arrives later this year for PC and Mac.
