We’ve shared the work of French artist Jérémy Pailler a few times in the past, and we’re particularly fond of his epic “Horror Genesis” series. The series of watercolor paintings, which we first covered four years ago, deals with the origins of our favorite horror icons, each of them presented from a highly unique, downright poetic point of view.
Last time we talked about the series, Pailler had done pieces in tribute to films like Child’s Play, Cujo, Insidious and A Nightmare on Elm Street, and he’s back for more with a brand new wave that includes The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Puppet Master and Re-Animator!
Pailler tells us, “This is a growing collection so there will be more monsters to come.”
Check out the full “Horror Genesis” collection over on Pailler’s website, where you can also grab select prints of his art including a jaw-dropping poster for Poltergeist.
