This Artist Turns Horror Icons into Cakes So Cool You Wouldn’t Want to Cut Them Up

Yes, these are cakes. Actual, edible, delicious cakes.

Karen Mitchell is the woman behind the appropriately titled The Dark Side of Cake, blending her passion for horror and talent for cake-making to create some of the coolest horror movie-inspired cakes you’ll likely ever see. Karen often brings her cakes to horror conventions, giving other fans the chance to see them up close and personal… and maybe even take a bite.

Most recently, Karen made a cake based on the brand new Michael Myers mask from this year’s Halloween, and she’s also made cakes in tribute to The Lost Boys, A Nightmare on Elm Street and An American Werewolf in London. One of her coolest cakes is based on a scene in last year’s Cult of Chucky, wherein Chucky’s decapitated head was tortured by Andy.

Check out Karen’s incredible creations below!
