Yes, there was a time when Rob Zombie didn’t have a beard. It was long, long ago.
Before he became a rock star and filmmaker, one synonymous with Halloween, Rob Zombie was just a fan like the rest of us, and he took to Instagram last night to share a fun vintage Halloween photo that we thought you’d get a kick out of. Back in 1981, when he was just 16 years old, a beard-less Zombie dressed as Escape from NY‘s Snake Plissken for Halloween!
After sharing the vintage photo, Zombie then posted one of he and Kurt Russell fifteen years later, promoting Escape from LA together – the soundtrack featured White Zombie’s “The One”.
From dressing like Snake Plissken in his parents’ kitchen to standing side-by-side with Snake Plissken in California, you could say that Zombie came a long way between ’81 and ’96!
