Deadline reports that Epic Pictures – who is selling the V/H/S films internationally – is behind a new anthology, Tales of Halloween, which will collect ten segments from eleven directors into one interconnected series of stories, all set in a sleepy American suburb terrorized by ghouls, aliens, and killers one Halloween night.
The pic is assembling with the likes of Neil Marshall (The Descent) and Darren Bousman (Repo!, 11-11-11, Saw II, III and IV) behind the camera.
Tapped to helm shorts alongside Marshall and Bousman are Joe Begos (Almost Human), Axelle Carolyn (Soulmate), Adam Gierasch (Night of the Demons), Andrew Kasch (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy) and John Skipp (Stay at Home Dad), Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider!), Dave Parker (The Hills Run Red), Ryan Schifrin (Abominable), and Paul Solet (Grace).
Carolyn conceived of the project and will produce with Mendez and Epic’s Patrick Ewald and Shaked Berenson.
