The UK’s Arrow Films have picked up Voltage Pictures’ upcoming thriller Return to Sender, starring Rosamund Pike, Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead) and Nick Nolte, reports ScreenDaily, who also shared the first ever image.
Pike, who most recently starred in David Fincher mystery Gone Girl, stars as a small town nurse who gets attacked during a home invasion by a mysterious criminal (Fernandez).
Following his arrest, she starts to regularly visit him in jail and befriends him, against her father’s (Nolte) advice. After his release, she decides to turn the tables on him and puts a diabolical plan in motion to get revenge on her assailant.
Return to Sender is directed by Fouad Mikati (Operation: Endgame)
Arrow plans to release the film in 2015.
