‘Deathgasm’ Sequel Will Bring Upon ‘Goremageddon’!

Jason Lei Howden’s phenomenal heavy metal horror movie Deathgasm delivers on its bloody promise, and is most definitely the party movie of 2015.

It’s so insanely bloody that I can’t even imagine what it would take to up the ante.

But that doesn’t scare Howden, who is teasing the completed screenplay for a sequel entitled Deathgasm Part 2: Goremageddon.

“So I just finished this,” Howden said sharing an Instagram photo of the ‘Deathgasm Part 2: Goremageddon’ screenplay. “There is literally more gore in the first 10 minutes than the entire first #deathgasm. If you kinda liked the first, this will make your head implode. If you thought the first ‘Deathgasm’ was puerile, juvenile and dumb then ‘Goremageddon’ will melt your face off and force you to barricade yourself inside, safe with some Terrance Malik and Coldplay.”

With Deathgasm delivering on its promise, as stated above, a title like Goremageddon is going to be incredible tough to live up to. Can Howden pull it off? Fuck yeah he can. But anything less than Peter Jackson’s Dead Alive/Brain Dead is going to be a chalked up as a disappointment.

The first Deathgasm blasts to Digital Download, Blu-ray and DVD on January 5th.

In it, “Metal-thrashing Brodie (Milo Cawthorne, Blood Punch) is an outcast in a sea of jocks and cheerleaders in a suburban wasteland until he meets a kindred spirit in fellow metalhead Zakk (James Blake). After starting their own band, Brodie and Zakk’s come upon a mysterious piece of sheet music said to grant ultimate power to whoever plays it. But the music also summons an ancient evil entity known as Aeloth The Blind One, which threatens to tear apart existence itself.

The boys’ classmates and family become inhabited by demonic forces, tearing out their own eyes and turning into psychotic murderers … and that’s only the beginning! It’s up to Brodie, Zakk and their group of friends to stop a force of pure evil from devouring all of mankind.
