DEATHGASM

Back in 2015, Jason Lei Howden tapped into the ultra-gory spirit of Peter Jackson’s early output with the blood-soaked Deathgasm, loaded with gory practical effects and nailing the perfect balance between horror and comedy. We’ve been begging for a sequel for the last several years, and Screen Daily reports today that a follow-up is indeed in the works!

UK’s Grimmfest is launching a production company titled Grimmfest Films, the site reports, dedicated to “developing, producing and part-financing feature films and streaming content from filmmakers who have premiered work in the festival.”

One of the first projects on their slate? Jason Lei Howden’s Deathgasm Part 2!

We have no further info at this time, but goddamn are we excited for this one.

This year’s Grimmfest runs from October 3-6.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
