Mike Mendez’s ‘Don’t Kill It’ is Going to Be So, So, So Bloody!

After battle big spiders with Lavalantula and Big Ass Spider!, horror director Mike Mendez is deep into production on Don’t Kill It, which stars Dolph Lundgren (The Expendables, Universal Soldier, Rocky IV),

In the film, “An ancient evil is unleashed in a small Alaskan town leaving a trail of death and destruction as it passes from host to host. The only hope of survival lies with a grizzled demon hunter (Lundgren) who has faced this terror before. Together with a reluctant FBI agent he has to figure out how to destroy a demon with the ability to possess its killer.

Mendez, also the director of Gravedancers, Killers, The Convent and Tales of Halloween, shared the above photo from set that gives us a taste of just how bloody and violent this movie is going to be. We can see an ax in the door, holding something out, while the floor is covered in gore and body parts. Mendez is capable of delivering a horror classic, and if he does so with Lundgren he’ll be my hero.

Don’t Kill It is written by Dan Berk (Body) and Robert Olsen (Body) of Last Pictures.

Archstone Distribution has acquired worldwide sales rights to the feature.
