We told you earlier this year that Patrick Brice, director of both Creep films, was working on a genre comedy that has elements of horror, such as cannibalism. In Corporate Animals, a retreat goes dangerously wrong.
Now, Sundance announced they will hold the World Premiere for the film that stars Ed Helms (Tag, Vacation, We’re the Millers, The Hangover), Jessica Williams (Fantastic Beasts: The Crime of Grindelwald, The Incredible Jessica James) and even Demi Moore (The Seventh Sign, Parasite) who is pictured above.
In the film: “Disaster strikes when the egotistical CEO of an edible cutlery company leads her long-suffering staff on a corporate team-building trip in New Mexico. Trapped underground, this mismatched and disgruntled group must pull together to survive.”
Jess Wu Calder, Keith Calder, Mike Falbo, and Ed Helms produce.
Babak Anvari will also see Wounds have its World Premiere in the Midnight section of the Sundance Film Festival this coming January.
In the film, “Disturbing and mysterious things begin to happen to a bartender in New Orleans after he picks up a phone left behind at his bar.”
Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Karl Glusman, and Brad William Henke star.
The festival will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of the World Premiere of Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez‘s smash hit The Blair Witch Project.
In the found-footage classic, “On October 21, 1994, Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard and Michael Williams hiked into Maryland’s Black Hills Forest to shoot a documentary on local legend “The Blair Witch.” They were never heard from again. One year later, their footage was found, capturing the terrifying events that led up to their disappearance.”
The indie film starred Heather Donahue, Michael Williams, and Joshua Leonard.
