While many of you should already know Joe Begos, director of Almost Human, The Mind’s Eye, VFW, and the ridiculously good Bliss, a large portion of credit goes to his Channel 83 Films producing partner, Josh Ethier, who takes a trip behind the camera with the shocking indie short.
Ethier, also an editor who has worked on everything from Mayhem to Standoff at Sparrow Creek, Small Crimes, Leatherface, and the upcoming Gretel and Hansel, shares “Gutter”, a short that carries one of the most brutal and vicious deaths in recent horror.
In the short, a young woman (Bliss star Erin Braswell) does what she can to survive in the underbelly of Los Angeles.
“Gutter” features the music of Couch Slut, Deth Crux, Cavernlight, and Graham Reznick. It also stars Andrew Steel, Zoe Cooper, DeMorge Brown, and Jeremy Gardner (Spring). Cinematography by Brian Sowell and Special Makeup Effects by Russell FX.
