It’s been over a year since Bloody Disgusting has attended a live event and we’re insanely excited to get back to it with Hello Horror‘s own Vanessa Decker and Ryan Valdez, who slashed up the black carpet premiere of Netflix’s Fear Street trilogy that took place earlier this week at the LA State Historic Park.
Vanessa Decker catches up with “Stranger Things” star Sadie Sink who has just learned about the term “Final Girl”; breakout star Benjamin Flores Jr. talks about his role as an expert on the history of Shadyside and its curse; Ryan Simpkins tells us about her 1978 role as a “chaotic agent of terror”; and of course, director Leigh Janiak tells us about her love of the “Fear Street” books.
“The movies are a little bit next level as far as violence…darkness…bloody, and everything like that,” Janiak tells Vanessa, citing inspirations from Scream to The Faculty, I Know What You Did Last Summer and even The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Watch below!
