We are very saddened to hear that Larry Drake, who appeared in the first two Darkman films as “Robert Durant”, has passed away at his home. He was 66 years old.
On top of appearing as the villain of the first two Darkman films, Drake was also known for his iconic performance as Santa in the “Tales from the Crypt” episode ‘And All Through the House’. He was also in the 1981 horror film Dark Night of the Scarecrow and the 1992 slasher Dr. Giggles.
Drake’s first role, according to IMDb, was the 1971 Herschell Gordon Lewis film This Stuff’ll Kill Ya!. His role as “Benny Stulwicz” in “L.A. Law” earned him two Emmy wins for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series” and one nomination for the same category.
