Shane West (The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, “Salem”) has joined the cast of Jonathan Wright’s serial killer film Z, according to Deadline. West will be playing opposite Leslie Bibb (The Midnight Meat Train) as “Mick Branson”, a man who is at the end of his wits and, fighting poverty, will do anything for his love.
Z follows, “a down-on-their-luck couple young who discover a serial killer’s film reels. They decide to take the law into their own hands, risking everything for the chance at a $100,000 reward. It isn’t long until they find themselves in the killer’s lethal cross-hairs.
Production on the film will begin in May and is being produced by Michael Baker and Jeff Sackman.
