The journey to Alien: Covenant has been a long one. But recent information shows that the movie is not only moving forward but is well into production in New Zealand. And now, to give fans a taste of what’s to come, an official photo for the film has been released and while it doesn’t reveal all that much, it’s just a badge on a uniform, it does bring back a very familiar name: Weyland-Yutani.
Weyland-Yutani is known in the first few films more so by the nickname “The Company” seemingly everyone has given it. It was created by Peter Weyland, who was played by Guy Pearce in Prometheus, and is pretty much the largest corporation in that franchise’s universe, so it makes sense that they still have a big role to play.
