Friday the 13th might have been a week ago, but why should that stop us from celebrating one of horror’s most iconic slashers?
Have you ever wondered what would happen if Jason Voorhees of Friday the 13th fame came across someone as evil and calculating as himself? Sure, he faced Freddy Krueger, but Freddy was using Jason for his own personal gains. No, I’m talking about someone who has no vested interest whatsoever. Someone who just so happens to have a soul just as black and bottomless as the Crystal Lake murderer. I’m talking about…Wednesday Addams!
That’s right, the little darling from The Addams Family might seem tiny but don’t let her height nor her age fool you. After all, we’ve all seen just how destructive she can be, so who’s to say that she couldn’t hold her own against the hockey masked terror?
In the short below, which was written/edited/produced/directed by Chopper Denton, the two go head-to-head with Addams getting a little help (although it’s practically useless) from Thing. I’m not going to ruin the ending for you but, needless to say, it makes me wonder what kinds of strange and bizarre crossovers would work…
Now, I know that this short is rather old (it came out in October of 2013) but the fact that it’s been seen only just over 12,000 times leads me to believe that it needs to gain more traction.
