After multiple delays, issues, and hold ups, Stephen King’s It adaptation is finally moving forward with filming currently underway in Toronto. Directed by Andy Muschietti (Mama), the two-part film will see the first segment released on September 8th, 2017.
To show off the faces you’ll be seeing in the film, star Finn Wolfhard has posted a photo on Instagram of himself along with the other members of “The Losers’ Club”. In the original story, the club is seven outcast kids who have to work together to defeat “It” after the death of George, one of their own.
The book follows these characters as children and then again years later as adults when they come together to face their fears one last time in the hopes of defeating their foe.
It also stars Bills Skarsgard as Pennywise the Clown, Owen Teague (“Bloodline”), Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween ), Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy ), Chosen Jacobs (Cops and Robbers) and Jeremy Ray Taylor (Ant-Man).
