Gunpowder & Sky have announced that they are working with Supergravity Pictures to create a thriller centered around skaters and extreme street stunt performers, according to Variety. The project will be written and directed by Jerome Sable and Nicholas Musurca (The ABCs of Death). Sable was also the writer and director of the 2014 musical horror Stage Fright.
Supergravity co-founder Max Benator states, “Jerome and Nick are brilliant storytellers. The fact that we get to collaborate with all of them on this truly demented film project is just a total treat.”
The project, which as of yet has no name, will center around, “…a small-town skate crew whose obsession with becoming internet-famous leads them into a trap of unrelenting horror.”
Gunpowder & Sky are also currently working on a film adaptation of Jeff Hart’s novel “Eat, Brains Love“.
