I will never stop singing praises for Ridley Scott’s Alien. It’s definitely up there as one of my favorite movies and I’ll happily watch it whenever it comes on. Part of my love is seeing just how much the film and its sequels have influenced and inspired so many others in all sorts of mediums, from art to music to comics.
That’s why I was drawn to artist Jack Lockett’s own unique take on Alien, which he redesigned to look like a cheesy science fiction/film noir hybrid. The pictures are delightful and show a wonderful attention to detail.
