The book-to-film adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower is currently filming in South Africa, so leaked shots from the set are popping up left and right. However, we want to show you the high-quality good stuff, which is why we’ve been waiting for an official look at the film. Today brings us that day as a crystal clear shot of Idris Elba as “The Gunslinger” has been released and can be seen below, per EW!

The film will star Idris Elba as Roland, Matthew McConaughey as the Man in Black, and we’ll also be seeing Fran Kranz, Jackie Earle Haley, Abbey Lee, and Kathryn Wiggins.
Directed by Nikolaj Arcel and produced by Akiva Goldman, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Erica Hughes, The Dark Tower will be released on February 17th, 2017.
