‘Tell Me How I Die’ is Like ‘Final Destination’ Meets ‘Alan Wake’

A trailer for the upcoming horror/thriller Tell Me How I Die has been released and can be seen below.

When a group of college students take part in an experimental drug study, an unexpected side effect gives them terrifying visions of their own murders… which begin to come true. As they scramble to outsmart and outmaneuver their date with death, they realize that the killer is among them and shares their ability to see the future – only he seems to be one step ahead in their race to survive.

Looking at the trailer, there are definitely elements of Final Destination, where death is seen in advance and people try their best to avoid it, mixed with Alan Wake where the manner of the upcoming events is seen in advance and can’t be avoided, no matter how much one tries.

Starring Nathan Kress, Virginia Gardner, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Ryan Higa, Mark Furze, Ethan Peck, Mark Rolston, William Mapother, and Christopher Allen, Tell Me How I Die was directed by D.J. Viola and written by James Hibberd, Rob Warren Thomas, and Viola.

The film will see a limited theatrical release on September 16th, 2016. It will also appear online on the same day and can be pre-ordered here.
