‘Blair Witch’ Evidence Shows Up at My Doorstep
Late this afternoon an unmarked packaged showed up at my doorstep. I opened it and shared the contents on our Twitter page. Inside was a box, a map, the markings of the “Blair Witch” and a clue. Following the clues we discovered hidden compartments that eventually led to the uncovering of a USB drive.
Take a look…
Did the Blair Witch just send this to me? What’s in the box?! @bradmiska pic.twitter.com/qW9dJ1Jq3W

Accessing the files on the USB, it appears that this box didn’t come from the Blair Witch, but from @DarkTruth301, an unknown conspiracy group hoping to prove that the events of The Blair Witch Project, and this weekend’s forthcoming sequel, Blair Witch, were in fact real.
The main thing that came on the USB was the following letter, recruiting us to join the “Army of Truth”, along with some visual evidence in the form of images and footage from a drone.
You have been chosen for the Army of Truth…
For years we had been working with our friends at Darknet666 to uncover a massive conspiracy happening in Western Maryland. Until they went missing in 2014.
Our investigation took an unexpected turn when Darknet666 found a tape in the Black Hills woods. They uploaded the footage to youtube in hopes that someone might know what it meant or where it was filmed. Soon after they were contacted by a guy named James. He was part of a documentary film crew going out into those same woods. They joined the crew, looking for answers of their own.
That was May 11, 2014. No one has seen or heard from any of them since.
Though authorities “gave up”, we did not. We’ve continued to try piecing the story together but hit a series of dead ends… until recently. A few weeks ago we acquired unreleased materials that were part of the investigation. We can’t say how, but trust us when we say this is legit. We’ve enclosed some of those materials here, including:
– 1 clip from Lisa Arlington’s recovered drone camera
– The last known photographs taken of the group, including Lisa and our friends
– A photograph taken of physical evidence authorities claimed they “never found”Please enable Javascript to watch this videoWhy didn’t this information get released? What are the authorities trying to hide?
While searching through DarkNet666’s hard drive, we also found numerous clips and articles about infamous Maryland serial killer Rustin Parr. No matter what you believe about the supernatural, or who exactly might’ve been telling him to kill those children, there’s little doubt that our friends felt there was some connection between Rustin’s crimes and the events that led James and Lisa into the woods. As for us, we believe there’s something truly evil hiding in those woods.
Your mission is to help us spread the word. For decades, the authorities have been systematically removing all signs, traces, and mentions of the disturbing events happening in the Black Hills. These are not isolated instances.
The authorities do not trust us with the truth, so we’ll take matters into our own hands. We’ve set up a system of dead drops locally to share information off the grid, but we need help to extend our reach. Please share what you find in this box. Post online as often as you can, the more trusted soldiers who participate, the greater our chance of success.
@DarkTruth301
P.S. We’re fans of nature so please accept our recycled packing products- actual remnants of the Frederick Watershed Woods.
The most fascinating elements of the package were the video clips of Maryland’s serial killer, Rustin Parr, who is somehow tied to the lore of the Blair Witch. What is the connection? What other clues are hiding within the above documents and map? Where does this all lead? The rest is up to you…

‘A Man in the Woods With an Axe’ – First Look at ’80s Throwback Slasher [Exclusive]
We have an exclusive first look at A Man in the Woods With an Axe, a blood-soaked, genre-twisting homage to 1980s slasher films.
Spanning four decades, A Man in the Woods With an Axe begins in the summer of 1987 before pushing into the modern era, weaving together timelines and perspectives in a way that builds both dread and intrigue.
Drawing inspiration from genre standouts like Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Hatchet, and The Cabin in the Woods, the film blends visceral horror with moments of dark humor, creating a uniquely balanced experience that honors tradition while carving its own identity.
Writer-director Dillon Brown (Primal Darkness) aims to deliver everything fans crave from a slasher while boldly subverting expectations with a mid-film twist that redefines the story.
“This is an unapologetic love letter to the films that made me fall in love with horror,” Brown tells Bloody Disgusting. “But I didn’t just want to recreate that feeling; I wanted to challenge it. About halfway through, the film takes a turn that completely changes how you view not only this story, but the genre itself.”
Brown describes the vintage-inspired production as “far and away the bloodiest film I’ve ever made,” with practical effects helmed by Cody Ruch (The Mill, Pig Hill), an instructor at Tom Savini’s Special Make-Up Effects Program.
From Horror Dadz Productions, A Man in the Woods With an Axe is currently in production and targeting an early 2027 release.
