WORLD OF DEATH EP18 – “Message Delay” / “Forever”

One of the first rules of life is to ALWAYS know who you’re dealing with. Okay, maybe that’s not a rule of life, but today’s episode consists of two films that prove that maybe it should be. You can never be too careful.

First Doug Turner brings us “Message Delay”. A trio of campers looking for a “ladies weekend” in the wilderness of the Outback decides to fight back when they are accosted by some uninvited guests. Then director Mat Corbett shows us that hooking up with a stranger in a bar can be deadly. “Forever” shows us what can happen when you don’t know the stranger but the stranger knows you?

World of Death had a great screening this past weekend as part of Flashback Weekend’s all day Horrorfest in Rosemont, IL. WOD played a short film before each of the features during the day and it was great being thrown into the mix with such horror classics as “Night of the Living Dead”, “Fright Night”, “A Nightmare on Elm Street”, and “Phantasm”. It was a really nice-sized crowd and everyone seemed to get a kick out of the short films. I wanted to take a moment to thank Mike Kerz at Flashback for bringing WOD on board for the event.

World of Death is the web series that fans of independent horror have been waiting for.  Featuring short horror films from all over the globe created by the largest variety of talent that a collection has ever been able to boast, WOD provides plenty of blood, guts, screams and laughs for all fans of the macabre.  And with episodes averaging around eight minutes in length, WOD is the perfect entertainment for a fan base constantly on the go.  Watch it anywhere, at any time, for FREE! New episodes premiere every Monday and Thursday at 7pm CST.
