The supernatural horror film Don’t Knock Twice, directed by Caradog James, had its premiere at the Raindance Film Festival in the UK on September 30. Bloody Disgusting’s Luiz reviewed the film, calling it “a charming and well-crafted thriller.”
The pic stars genre fav Katee Sackhoff (Oculus, Riddick, Battlestar Galactica), with Lucy Boynton (Miss Potter, Ballet Shoes, Mo) and Nick Moran (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows).
“Don’t Knock Twice follows a guilt-ridden mother (Sackhoff) who wants to reconnect with the daughter (Boynton) she was forced to place into care. To save her estranged daughter, she has to uncover the terrifying truth behind the urban legend of a vengeful, demonic witch.”
James (The Machine, Little White Lies) directed from a script by writing duo Mark Huckerby and Nick Ostler, whose credits include Howl.
The film is produced by Red & Black Films’ John Giwa-Amu (The Machine, The Call Up) and Seymour Films’ Claire Moorsom.
