With Halloween just over a week away, I’m sure that there are a few of you who have yet to figure out your costume. Don’t feel ashamed because I’m in the same boat! Halloween is one of those holidays that manages to sneak up on me because I’m so busy with other things that I don’t get around to getting a costume arranged. However, with the help of AWEme and their DIY propshop series, I might just find myself a little something to put on come Monday the 31st!
Their latest episode focuses on how someone can put together a simple, lightweight, and fairly solid looking Evil Dead chainsaw replica. The entire build looks like it would take an afternoon and around $80-$100. Now, I realize that may seem like a lot but the quality you’re gonna get from something you make yourself, plus that feeling of satisfaction, can’t be beat. The instructions are simple, the concepts laid out in an easy-to-follow pattern, and the end product looks pretty damn convincing!
