Three years ago, director Chris Capel brought us “Living with Jigsaw“, which was a look into what it would be like if you someone had to live with Jigsaw’s puppet from the Saw franchise. Now Capel is back, only this time he’s looking into what that puppet would be like as a co-worker. Spoiler alert: he’s just as much of an asshole.
I absolutely love sketches like these because it’s obvious the people making it are all onboard with creating something ludicrous, outrageous, and damn funny, all while not really trying that hard. The joke here is in the situation and not in the characters, so no one is trying to stand out from anyone else. Personally, I give this short an A-. I’d give it a higher grade but there are some very minor pacing issues. Still, they barely detract from the enjoyment that this short offers, so get on down and spend a few minutes checking this out!
