It may be November and Halloween is already past us but that doesn’t mean that our love of horror can’t carry on unburdened and certainly not diminished in any way. So what if jack-o’-lanterns are being taken off the doorstep to be replaced by Christmas wreathes? That just means we’ll pop on Black Christmas or Krampus!
For those who are a bit saddened by the passing of Halloween, the BBC have unearthed an old interview with director John Carpenter, where he discusses his famed 1978 slasher Halloween and it’s rather fascinating to see how he views the scares he’ll be presenting in that film along with his thoughts of film in general.
The best part of the interview? Right at the beginning where Carpenter proudly states, “I enjoy scaring people a lot.” Bless this man. Hopefully he never stops doing what he loves and keeps sharing it with all of us.
