Last night, the Cubs won the World Series and gave everyone hope that the impossible could actually happen. After all, it’d been 108 years since the Cubs fought that hard and went that far, scrambling and fighting their way to the top, so why can’t other impossibilities suddenly become a possibility?

That was the mentality of Twitter user TheDanLuberto, who tweeted at Bruce Campbell saying, “The Cubs winning the World Series has restored my hope for a Freddy V Jason V Ash movie. Anything is possible“. Alas, Bruce Campbell doesn’t share his enthusiasm and replied with the clear answer, “Agreed. Except that.”
A comic of this concept was released by DC back in 2007 and ran for six issues. It was written by James Kuhoric and illustrated by Jason Craig. A sequel series, “Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash: The Nightmare Warriors” came out in August 2009 and also ran for six issues.
