First up in Jacob Regul’s MOTHER, we follow the titular mom going about her daily activities, seemingly detached from her husband and two small children. MOTHER explores the despair and seemingly implausibility of postpartum depression with a horrifying twist.
Next up, in Brian Bouyea’s MISPRINT, we are introduced to a school principal who is wrongly accused of child molestation. But is he all that he seems to be? MOTHER and MISPRINT both explore the facade of people whom children are supposed to be able to look up to, and teaches us that strangers may not be the only people to be wary of.
