Evil forces just won’t leave Lin Shaye alone.
Ahead of a VOD rollout on May 9th and DVD and Blu-ray release June 18th, Rolfe Kanefsky’s (Dead Scared, Nightmare Man) new film The Black Room is playing theatrically in L.A. at the Music Hall Theater tonight. Both Kanefsky and star Lin Shaye will be on hand for a special Q&A.
Can’t make it? Sneak a peek by watching the opening scene below! And you really should watch it, because it legit ends with Shaye screaming “SHUT THE FUCK UP!” at an invisible force.
In the film…
Paul and Jennifer Hemdale have just moved into their dream house. But their happy marriage is about to be put to the test as they slowly discover the secret behind the black room in the cellar. Something else is already living in their new home and it is growing stronger every day.
Natasha Henstridge (Species), Lukas Hassel and Augie Duke also star with Donnie Darko‘s James Duval, Dominique Swain (Lolita) and Scream Queen Tiffany Shepis (Nightmare Man, Night of the Demons). Effects were handled by Under the Bed and V/H/S Viral‘s Vincent Guastini.
