Jordan Peele‘s name has been attached to a handful of projects in the wake of Get Out‘s success early this year, including HBO’s “Lovecraft Country,” but what about a follow-up to his directorial debut? Does he ever plan on returning to that socially relevant world, which is sadly not all that unlike our own?
Speaking with Deadline, Peele said he’s at least open to the possibility.
“I haven’t decided anything yet and I am allowing the creative part to bubble up, and not force it,” Peele told the site. “I know if a follow-up is meant to happen, it will. I’m open to figuring out what it is. But I also don’t want to let down the original and its fans. I simply would not do something like that for the cash.”
