The entire Friday the 13th franchise got the retrospective documentary treatment with Crystal Lake Memories, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any stories left to tell.

Not only is a Friday the 13th: Part 3 documentary on the way, but as we’ve learned this week, so too is a doc specifically about Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday!

Being directed by Nick Hunt and produced by Jason Goes to Hell director Adam Marcus, The Dark Heart of Jason Voorhees: The Making of the Final Friday is set to provide a never-before-seen in depth look at the most infamous Jason film.

“Through interviews and behind the scenes details, you will understand the unique landscape the series was in at the time, having just changed studios and already being on the road to the eventual Freddy vs. Jason film which wouldn’t see release for another 8 years.
