One of this year’s most pleasant surprises thus far is just how many genre films Nicolas Cage has been appearing in, beginning with the just released (on VOD) Mom and Dad, where he’s at his batshit over the top best, and the upcoming Mandy. And that’s not all, as Momentum Pictures is releasing the Cage-starring Looking Glass next month!
Cage plays a motel owner and potential murderer in director Tim Hunter’s film, which looks to deliver a more subdued Cage than you might be expecting. Then again, there *is* a scene in the trailer wherein he’s rocking out in a club with a drink in hand, so here’s hoping Hunter took at least a little advantage of Cage’s particular brand of insanity.
