Between all the different streaming services available to us right now – Netflix, Amazon Prime, Shudder and Hulu, to name just a handful – we certainly have no trouble finding horror movies to instantly stream at our leisure on a nightly basis. And speaking of Hulu, it’s about to get a fresh injection of horror thanks to a new deal.
THR reports that a deal inked between Hulu and IFC Films will see The Babadook and The Autopsy of Jane Doe, two of the better horror films released in the last several years, arriving on the streaming service in the near future – along with the largest current and future selection of IFC titles on any streaming service.
The site details, “The streamer and the distribution company have inked a new multi-year, output agreement for the exclusive subscription streaming rights to current and future narrative films released by IFC Films, as well as their sister labels Sundance Selects and IFC Midnight.”
No word yet on when the IFC titles will begin hitting Hulu.
