A full ten years after the first film, Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) is bringing back the Man in the Mask, Dollface and Pin-up Girl for The Strangers: Prey at Night, arriving on the big screen in just over a month. In addition to sharing this exclusive new image, we’re reminding you of our ongoing contest for which we are one of the judges.
Artists have until Friday, February 9th to submit their works (make sure to tag it #StrangersFanArtContest), which will be accepted on the film’s official social channels: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The winner will be announced on Friday, February 16th and will see their art unveiled in an installation in Los Angeles the week of March 5th. They will also receive a $500 cash prize.
In the film, directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down), “A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive.”
Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison, Lewis Pullman, and Martin Henderson star, with Emma Bellomy as DOLLFACE, Lea Enslin as PIN-UP GIRL, and Damian Maffei as the MAN IN THE MASK.
Bryan Bertino and Ben Ketai wrote the script.
The masked maniacs return on March 9, 2018.
