Ksenia Solo, known for her roles on Syfy’s “Lost Girl” and “Orphan Black” has been tapped as the lead in Sweet Harmony, reports Deadline, an indie thriller being directed by Jeff Beasley from a script penned by Kerry Douglas Dye.
“The story takes place in a rent-controlled New York apartment building in a gentrifying neighborhood that has gone condo. Conflict arises between the newer upscale residents and one of the original tenants.”
Shooting will begin this summer in Winnipeg on the physiological thriller.
Scary Good Films’ Kevin Niu and Shane Snoke are producing, with Lynwood Spinks and Casey Wolfe as executive producers.
