Mickey Keating‘s next is a tale of murder and madness.
Bloody Disgusting learned ahead of Cannes that Keating (Pod, Darling, Psychopaths, Ritual, Carnage Park) will be heading to the 1960’s with his next, Crooks, which will star Juno Temple (Horns, Unsane, Sin City), Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”, The Purge, Dread, Laid to Rest, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies), and Mark Kassen (Before We Go).
The film takes place in a 1968 Las Vegas, “Where a pair of crooks named Johnny (Kassen) and Faye (Temple) rob the Moonlight Casino. The getaway is clean, and the job a success. But Faye double-crosses Johnny and speeds off with the loot to California. Too bad for her that the oldest and deadliest assassin in town, the Fixer, is on her trail. And worse yet, the friendly waitress at the truck stop Blanche (Headey) is just as lethal as the paid killer – and probably crazier.”
